You share a video by creating a link to it. Anyone with the link can watch the video in their browser. They do not need a LapInsight account, and the video stays private otherwise. There is no permanent public address for your videos, so a link is the only way in.
Create a share link
- Open the video you want to share.
- Choose Share.
- Copy the link and send it to whoever needs it.
The person you send it to opens the link and watches the video in the player, with markers and captions if the video has them.
Stop sharing
- Open the video.
- Go to its share settings.
- Revoke the link.
Once a link is revoked, it stops working. Anyone who tries to open it sees that the video is no longer available.
Confirm it worked
Open the link yourself in a private browser window. A working link plays the video. A revoked link does not.
