A quick map of the Player window so you know where everything lives.

The video area

The video fills most of the window. The timeline sits just below it, showing your position and any lap markers or chapters as ticks. Hover the timeline to preview frames; click to jump.

The control bar (bottom)

The everyday transport controls:

  • Skip back / Play-Pause / Skip forward
  • Playback rate — your current speed (1×, 0.5×, 2×, …)
  • Timeline / seek bar with the current time and total duration
  • Volume — hover to expand the slider; click to mute
  • Fullscreen
  • Advanced toggle — reveals the advanced bar (below)

The advanced bar

Click the advanced toggle on the control bar to slide out a second row of tools. In the Player it contains, left to right:

  • Screenshot (F12)
  • Add note marker
  • Add chapter at the playhead (Ctrl+B)
  • Add lap marker (Ctrl+L)
  • Add sector split (Ctrl+Shift+L)
  • Import lap markers from a data file 🔒 *(AiM XRK / CSV — requires sign-in)*
  • Toggle notes panel
  • A/B loop (Ctrl+Shift+A)
  • Add current video to favorites

The notes drawer

Press N (or use Toggle notes panel in the advanced bar) to open the drawer on the left. It has up to three tabs:

  • Video Markers — every lap, sector split, and chapter for this video, with lap

times. Click any entry to jump to it. Filter chips at the top narrow the list to laps, sectors, or notes.

  • Video Description — a free-text note saved with the video. See

  • Session Notes 🔒 — the full rich-text notes panel, shown only when you're

signed in. See Session Notes.

The menus

  • File — open videos, recent files, favorites, preferences, exit.
  • View — fullscreen, rotation, brightness/contrast adjustments.
  • Markers — insert and edit lap markers.
  • Notes — toggle the notes drawer, the quick note bar, and full notes.
  • Account — sign in or out, manage your account.
  • Help — this help, shortcut keys, set-as-default, about, and notices.
