Play and pause
- Space — play / pause.
Seeking
The Player offers four seek distances so you can move coarsely or finely without the mouse:

You can also click or drag anywhere on the timeline to jump, and hover the timeline to preview the frame under the cursor.
- Home — jump to the start of the video.
- End — jump to the end.
Frame stepping
For precise alignment, step one frame at a time while paused:
- E or . — step forward one frame.
- Shift+E or , — step back one frame.
Playback speed
- − — slower (steps down through the speed presets).
- + or Shift+= — faster (steps up).
- = — reset to normal 1× speed.
The current speed shows on the control bar.
Volume
- Up — volume up 5% (Shift+Up for 10%).
- Down — volume down 5% (Shift+Down for 10%).
- M — mute / unmute.
You can also hover the volume control on the control bar to drag the slider.
