Add PDFs, URLs, or image files to a session, day, event, or the global library.
Drag and Drop
- Open the Documents Center (sidebar or Ctrl+4).
- Drag one or more files from File Explorer onto the Documents panel.
- A dialog asks for the scope (session / day / event / global). Choose the appropriate level.
- Click OK.
Add Dialog
- In Documents Center, click the + button or go to the context menu → Add Document.
- Choose File to browse for a local file, or URL to enter a web link.
- Set the scope.
- Click OK.
Adding a URL
- Click + → Add URL.
- Enter the full URL (including
https://). - Give it a descriptive name (e.g. "Circuit Guide — Brands Hatch").
- Set scope and click OK.
Tip: URL documents open in your system browser. They require an internet connection to view.
Batch Import
To import many files at once, drag them all onto the panel simultaneously. LapInsight will ask for scope once and apply it to all.
Document Names
LapInsight uses the filename as the document name by default. To rename, right-click the document → Rename.
