PDF Viewer

Read and search PDFs in the built-in viewer without leaving the app.

LapInsight has a built-in PDF viewer so you can read circuit guides and documents without leaving the app.

Opening a PDF

Double-click any PDF in the Documents Center. It opens in the PDF viewer pane.

For a full-screen view, right-click the document and choose Open in Full Screen.

Navigation

  • Next/Previous page — arrow buttons in the toolbar, or Page Down / Page Up.
  • Go to page — click the page number field, type a page number, press Enter.
  • Zoom — use the zoom buttons or Ctrl+Scroll.
  • Fit page — click the fit button to fill the pane with the current page.

Finding Text

  1. Press Ctrl+F or click the search icon in the viewer toolbar.
  2. Type your search term.
  3. Press Enter or click Next to jump through matches.

Tip: Search works on text-layer PDFs. Scanned documents (image-only PDFs) require OCR — see Searching Documents.

Linked Snippets

You can link a snippet of a PDF to a session note:

  1. Select text or a region in the PDF.
  2. Right-click → Copy Link to Selection.
  3. Paste the link in your session notes.

Clicking the link later opens the PDF viewer to that exact page and position.
