Capture the current frame as a PNG image — handy for sharing a moment, documenting damage, or building a setup log.
Take a screenshot
- Press F12, or
- Click the Screenshot button in the advanced bar.
The image is saved as a .png and the Player shows a brief confirmation. The filename includes the video name and the frame's timestamp, so shots stay in order and never overwrite each other.
Where screenshots are saved
By default, screenshots are saved next to the video you're reviewing. If you'd rather collect them all in one place, set a screenshot folder in File → Preferences…. Once set, every screenshot goes there regardless of which video is open.
