Requires sign-in. Data import is part of the connected LapInsight experience. See Signing In.
Instead of placing lap markers by hand, you can generate them automatically from a telemetry file. The Player reads your laps from the data and drops a marker at each lap boundary on the video.
Supported files
- AiM native files (
.xrk/.xrz) - CSV telemetry exports
Import laps
- Open the advanced bar (the advanced toggle on the control bar).
- Click Import lap markers from data file (AiM XRK / CSV)….
- Choose your telemetry file.
- Follow the sync dialog to line the data up with the video.
The Player then places lap markers matching the laps in your data. From there you can navigate and review them exactly like markers you'd placed yourself — see Lap Markers.
Aligning data and video
Telemetry and video almost never start at the same instant. The import flow helps you set the alignment so the markers land in the right place; you can refine it with the sync controls afterwards.
