LapInsight organises your work in a three-level hierarchy: Events → Days → Sessions.
The Hierarchy
- Event — a named competition or test series (e.g. "Club Championship Round 3"). Optional — days can stand alone.
- Day — a single calendar day at a track. This is the main unit of work.
- Session — a individual on-track stint within a day (e.g. "Practice 1", "Qualifying", "Race").
Working with Days
You open one or more days to work on them. The active day drives the context for notes, video, and reports.
Use Session Explorer to browse, open, and manage days. Use Start Day to create a new one.
Session Context
When you switch to a session, all views update:
- Session Notes shows that session's notes.
- Video List shows videos linked to that session.
- Corner Feedback shows that session's feedback sheet.
