The Start Day dialog creates a new day entry and sets the active context.
How To Open It
- Sessions → Start Day in the menu bar.
- Or click the Start Day button in Session Explorer.
Fields
- Track — type to search the track library. If your track isn't listed, type a custom name and press Enter.
- Date — defaults to today. Change it to backfill a day from earlier.
- Event — optional. Links this day to an existing event, or type a new event name to create one.
- Drivers — add one or more drivers. Each driver gets their own notes and feedback tabs.
- Folder — the subfolder inside your data root where this day's files will live. Auto-generated from track and date; change it if you want a custom path.
- Notes — free-text day-level notes (weather, setup baseline, objectives).
After Clicking Start
The day opens immediately. It becomes the active day, and the session list starts empty.
Tip: Add sessions next — use Sessions → Start Session or the button in the session list.
