LapInsight has three main zones: the sidebar, the central workspace, and the docks.
The Sidebar
The sidebar on the left switches between the major views:

Click any icon to switch view. Click again or press the matching shortcut to toggle the sidebar open/closed.
Tip: Keyboard shortcuts for views appear in Help → Shortcut Keys. They are typically Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+5.
The Central Workspace
The large central area shows the active view. It changes completely when you switch views.
The Docks
Docks are panels that float around the edges of the workspace. Toggle them from the View menu:
- Track Map — shows the current track layout.
- Video List — your video library for the open day.
- Timeline — a compact timeline of all sessions in the day.
Docks can be dragged, resized, stacked, or floated as separate windows. Use View → Reset Layout to restore the default arrangement.
The Menu Bar
- File — Settings, Import/Export, Backup, Close Day.
- Sessions — Start Day, Start Session.
- View — Toggle docks, switch views, video playback layout.
- Tools — Track Editor, Corner Editor, Coaching Brain.
- Reports — Generate and publish reports.
- Help — Documentation, shortcuts, guides.
