Side-by-Side Comparison

Play two videos at once to compare drivers or a driver against themselves.

Compare two videos simultaneously — useful for contrasting a driver's sessions or comparing two drivers on the same track.

Opening the Compare Tray

In Review Mode, press C or click the compare icon in the toolbar. A second video slot appears alongside the primary player.

Loading a Second Video

  1. Open the compare tray (C).
  2. In the Video List, drag a video onto the second player slot, or double-click it while the compare tray is focused.

Synchronised Playback

Both players play, pause, and seek together. Controls and keyboard shortcuts apply to both.

Adjusting the Sync Offset

The two videos rarely start at the same point. Use the offset control to align them:

  1. Find a common reference point in both videos (e.g. the moment the car exits the pit lane).
  2. Seek each video to that point independently.
  3. Click Set Sync or use the offset control to lock the current positions as the sync point.

From then on, seeking or playing one video moves the other by the same amount.

Tip: A lap start or a prominent braking marker makes a reliable sync reference.

Swap / Replace

  • Swap the primary and secondary videos with the swap icon.
  • Replace the secondary video by dragging a new one onto its slot.

Closing the Compare Tray

Press C again, or click the close button on the secondary player.
